Gangshi Tiger: Further Development: Initial Sketches

After receiving my first peer review I am revisiting the design of the Gangshi Tiger. It was suggested that the armour on my initial design made the tiger look like it was meant to be ridden, whereas the tigers are the main characters, not subordinate creatures.

I have made an attempt to create sleeker armour.

Tokkaebi Tiger Environment: Initial Sketches

Above are the initial sketches for where the Tokkaebi Tigers will live. It is going to be a kind of mysterious fortress. The gate will be covered in creepy Tokkaebi face carvings.

Dosa Tiger Environment: Initial Sketches

Above are the initial sketches for the environment that the Dosa Tigers will live in. I imagine it to be a kind of Mount Rushmore but for tigers. I have also started thinking about the first props for environment. There could be carved standing stones or carved tree trunks to ward away evil spirits.

Pose Sketches: Dosa Tiger

Above are some more sketches developing the Dosa Tiger. I am exploring the overall silhouette and pose of the creature. I want to design 3 or 4 distinct characters from this species of tiger. I will also design a staff for this species of tiger to use. The Dosa from Korean Mythology is always pictured with a long beard and a staff.
